Hello from Crete

:welcome: from sunny South Florida! :woohoo:

Welcome from Pennsylvania. I am wondering, do people from Crete and otherwise in the world know the 50 states of the USA when we say where we are from?

Hi everybody

I live in Chania, in the island of Crete (southern Greece). Warm weather (up to 40 celcius during summer, never below 15 celcius during winter), perfect conditions for beers, stoner music and chilles all year long!

New to the chilles, found this forum and i am so excited, waiting to start my own pepper plants this year.

Don't have any experience, just few cayennes, aji cristal, naga morich (2 plants) and some criolla sella was my last year's harvesting.

That's it for now.

Keep on chilling!

What? This is a drinking forum with a pepper problem.
Can you cook? Can you drink? Can you do both?

A BIG OUZO

:welcome: from Twisp (Washington State ^^^^hahahahaha)

Ouzo is good, but it's for the tourists. We got better alcohol (tsikoudia or raki. 4 or 5 shots and then you are too God to be a drunk) ;)

No worries JayT, i think most of the people (at least from my island) know a lot about the states. Especially PA, because of the University and the basket.

Oh man, how I miss drinking Raki in the kebab shop in Germany! I haven't thought about that in years!

When my wife and I visit her family in Cyprus, they like to force me into drinking Zivania. They also tell me Ouzo is for the tourists and that since I married into the family I am no longer a tourist.

Went to Elounda on the island and had a 'gyros' possibly the most unhealthy thing I have ever eaten. Its a sort of deep fried bread stuffed with chips and fatty meat. THAT was definately for the tourists!
