Hello from Minnesota

Well this is my first year growing peppers and so far things are going great. I am totally new to the forum and it looks like it will be a great source for all the questions I have/will have. I currently am growing about 30 some plants containing 10 different varieties such as...
Peter Pepper
Joes Long cayenne
Tepin
Jalapeno
Black Pearl
Orange Habanero
Red Carib. Habanero
Cayenne
Pequin
Naga Jolokia

My friend and I just thought of starting a garden this year and growing a ton of peppers and trying to make some sauces and salsas. I think we both would like to make it a small business but there seems to be a bit more red tape and stuff to deal with than I think either of us are interested in so we may just make stuff for ourselves and to share with friends. Anyway I look forward to spending some time here and learning as much as I can.

Welcome from Fort Worth

Greetings and Welcome!

Just a note...if your Naga Jolokia ends up with long skinny pods like a cayenne...don't be surprised if it's not the truly superhot kind. Most of those named that are "PC-1" hybrids. There's really only the Bih/Bhut Jolokia and Naga Morich/Dorset Naga kinds if ya want the true superhots.

Not counting the Trinidad Scorpions or 7-pots of course.
