Hello world.

Hello, I'm the1zenith. Just call me Zen for short. I'm a pepper fan with a soft spot for heirlooms and the hottest of hots. My interests are in growing, preserving, eating peppers, and trading their seeds. I have experience with several cultivars and enjoy the Cowhorn in particular, but unfortunately do not have any seeds at this time. :'(

Has anyone else used Cowhorn on pizza after letting them sit in a vinegar brine for a few days? I liked tossing them on after I had finished baking a pizza. The thicker walls of the Cowhorn really hold up well, plus that almost cayenne flavor adds a great zing!

I look forward to networking with other members and growing more beautiful pepper plants. Have a great day and I hope to get along well with all of you. :)

Welcome from...................Chicago
I'm growing the "Cowhorn" pepper, haven't brined or pickled it. But when ripened it makes a nice addition in a pot of chili
