The biggest thing to remember about bloody mary's is that the amount of worcester, horseradish, pepper, and lime is at the mercy of the palate. I make a great bloody mary, but it is never the same because I taste it as I make it and adjust the amount of ingredients to taste.
Help me make a good BLOODY MARY.

For turkey day I start with my usual baileys and coffee. By 10 am it will be bloody maria's...that is...with tequila!
I'm going to have to try the tequila mary...that sounds quite good!
Bloody Maria? They're not bad, Bloody Mary is much better imo.
For the Bloody Maria, you have to use a good tequila. NEVER use Cuervo, no matter what grade. Its junk. I like Sauza Hornitos Reposado. Mezcal works too!
I like Hornitos too. One of my faves is Herradura.
Flavored moonshine? Fail.

1 1/2 cups tomato juice
3/4 cups + a bit for good luck Moonshine (80 proof)
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice cordial concentrate
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish (fresh grated)
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 yeaspoon Turkey Slap
1/2 teaspoon salt (rock salt)
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
Pinch of dried Thyme
Tis chillin now, shall let you guys know if it tastes like moyboy piss soonish.

It actually wasn't that bad but i think i used to much horseradish, i will cut that back next time. I just add a little more tom juice to the glass.
I am going to try it over crushed ice very shortly

Absolutely agree on using high quality tequila in a bloody maria. The flavor of tequila comes through pretty strongly in this drink, so quality is required. With vodka, that isn't as necessary, you can get away with a cheaper grade.
For Marias, I use Patron.
For Marys, I use Smirnoff.
