health Help! Weird Leave spots

Hey all, can't figure out what's going on wth my leaves. It's on all of my plants so far in the tent. Humidity is at 50% with 750 ppm with ph 5.8-6.0 all dwc with gh flora series using 1-1-1 tsp/gal. Any thoughts as to what it could be?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Yeah I think it even messes with my eyes lol. When I'm in the tent, it actually starts to look pretty normal. Its only when i try and snap a picture that it looks really blurple. The first few pictures are showing what looks to be magnesium deficiency or nute burn. Showing some leaf curl in picture 4. The last picture though I'm seeing some spotting on the leaves. Wish it showed up better :/

I've noticed the same thing with some of my plants in my GH Flora grow. I'm not sure what's missing in the formula, but things seem to have gone away in the new growth since I've stated using silica blast (mainly as a pH adjuster), calmag+ then adding the GH Flora Micro & Bloom.

After some googling it looks like it MAY a manganese deficiency. That said it could be from lock out or simply not enough in the formula.

I've got a similar issue on my coco plants using GH Flora and Calmag+ at 5.7 PH.  That would support Blister's theory.  Still battling it. I thought it was related to a springtail infestation but now I'm not so sure.  I'm cutting back to half strength for a while to see if anything changes.

Thanks for all of the input. I'm leaning more towards nute burn. My ppm has always been around 750. I just cut it back to half to see if it makes a difference. I am getting lots of salt build up on the leaves as well. Just glad it isnt something like bls lol

I can't see it being nute burn. That usually comes in the form of brown leaf tips first. I also run my GH at 700ppm and don't think you're quite that high using 1-1-1 per gallon. Are you using tap water?

Yes I am that comes in around 250 ppm by itself. Its hard to really tell if its a deficiency or a burn. I'm going to run this half solution till i start either seeing it get worse or better. 2 Res changes prior I ran the lucas method for 2 weeks to see if it helped with the leaf drop which did not and had the ppm around 950. I then switched back to the 1-1-1 schedule. These are mature flowering plants, and I figured it could take it. i think these guys just like water more than nutes lol

Ah ok. I would suggest running bottled RO water with your nutrients for a bit and see if that helps clear things up. Unless you had your water tested it's hard to say what you have in the overall mixture. There could be a lot of one mineral or another that's throwing your balance off.

I had a similar issue when I first stared using hydro nutes and coco, except my water is 500ppm. Things jessy kept going sideways until I switched to clean water.

Just a suggestion to see if it helps.

I got the same on my auto-pot:ed Caroline reaper. Coco and GHE Flora (tried with hydro nuts but on coco nuts now and still the same). After a wile the leafs turn yellow and drops.

Update: i think my issue could be too high pH... gonna try to lower it in the res

It might be too early to tell, but my new growth is looking better.  I've been running half strength and stopped using grow.  I probably should not have changed two variables at once.

Switched from:
1-1/2-1 tsp Micro-Grow-Bloom
1/2 tsp Calmag+

To:
1/2-0-3/4 tsp GH Flora
1/4 tsp Calmag+

I'm now seeing some of my leaves turn yellow and fall off with the spots. Seeing the spots on more leaves now almost like its spreading.  Ph is 6.0 running half strength. Might need to try the cal mag to see if its a deficiency.

Have you calibrated your PH meter recently?  Also, could try lowering that to the 5.7 range.

I have one of the el cheapo ph meters but I keep it in the storage solution then check it in the cal 7.0 solution before every use. It usually stays consistent and I will use the manual ph tester every so often to verify. i'll try to drop it lower tonight to see if it helps

Update: I went over to a hydroponics guy that sells microgreens and whatnot to some restaurants. Showed him the pictures and immediately said it's a calcium deficiency. Said I should have been adding cal mag since almost the beginning which I haven't been doing. Got some put in tonight so I'll post some results once I see if it makes a difference.

I look forward to an update on your addition of calmag. The cupped leaves certainly point to a calcium issue, though I'd lean towards a lock out rather than a deficiency simply because you're using tap water that starts at 250ppm.

I'm still not sure on what's causing my issues with the black spots like Dan showed.
