Help with pod blems - BER?

My Bhut Jolokias seems to have some sort of pod blem.  On my largest plant, nearly all the pods have these blems which is causing the pod to prematurely ripen, or even drop off the plant.
 
Is this BER or a pest of some kind?
 
 
I'm no expert, but I'd say cut em open and look for pests. If there's no pest then I would say it's BER or that's what it looks like anyway.

I cut those three apart and couldn't find anything obvious.  There was lots of black seeds and fuzzy areas in there though.
 
I'm thinking BER.
 
If it's helpful, the weather has been very inconsistent here lately.  We've had a week of upper 90s and now a week of low to mid 80's.  Rain has been inconsistent as well.
 
The middle one looks somewhat like a bug got to it, but the one on the right doesn't. I'd suggest adding calcium, which helps prevent BER.
 
Yep Geeme said it, that happens when it's calcium deficient. That explains the black seeds or deformation of the seed.
