Here's a challenge for you

You can't fit 22 pounds of food in your stomach. The rest of us however might be different. Not all in one sitting, but definitely within the day.

Guarantee you cannot put 22lbs plus fluid into your stomach. You would probably start suffering from major bloating about 4 to 5 lbs in and then if you had been training properly you might be able to make it another 1lb but no possible way could you If you did manage to your stomach would most likely split

You are severely overstimating the size of a stomach I would say.. When empty the size of your fist is a decent estimate. Even when permanently stretched by overeating I don't see it holding that much. and that is most certainly the case with these "professional eaters" that put so much food down. I don't believe even they could consume 22 pounds of rice..

Yeah I know. The world record for eating EVER is a French guy named Tarrare, who could eat around thirty pounds to a hundred pounds of food in a day. This guy had a very disgusting disorder however, and I do not recommend looking it up unless you want to feel odd afterwards. Some of the things he ate where rather nasty, as was he himself.
EDIT: It isn't a "most likely". You will die. Eating 20 pounds in a day requires the use of the Roman method. And a bucket.

Do you have to keep it down is the question?
Because if you  than it makes more room.
Not feeling fullness will be even worse. Neither of their stomachs can stretch forever, and one day it's going to bite them in the arse.

Unpossible. Not even a Columbian drug mule who's accustomed to having a belly full of heroin could pull that off.

This is not possible. They should have made it a gillion, gazillion dollars because no one will ever win this. Someone might even die trying.
Not even Joey "Jaws" Chestnut in our very own San Jose, the world record eater? ;)

I imagine you have to keep it down. If you're taking about the other end, you have an hour to finish so I guess it's possible.

The average stomach is about the size of a fist.

22 lbs is about the size of a suitcase.

It's simply not possible. The stomach acids could not break down to digest enough matter to make room for more. Not in an hour. No way. 22 lbs. think about that. Better yet - go out & find a 1-2 year old child. Pick them up. Now, very carefully and without upsetting the parents, try to eat them. Ok, not really. - but imagine trying to eat them.

Daunting task. Not just for the cannibalism factor, but for trying to consume 22 lbs of anything. Now, arguably a human child would be easier to eat (provided it were cooked right and suitably marinated) as there's bone and tendon that you wouldn't necessarily eat, so you'd probably only actually consume 14-16 lbs of human infant.

This is 22 lbs of curry. And rice. This is much more dense than a human child, even if you rotisserie the child until moist & tender.

Mmmmmmmm, human child,

Actually I think it's 22lb of rice. The curry, Tonkatsu, and cabbage are extra weight.

Eat some laxative/Colonoscopy prep first and as a chaser between bowls...to keep things flowing smoothly. :)
Gotta do the challenge in the head though.
Might be hard on the O Ring...

Will an extra LARGE Depends hold that much?
Maybe get endorsements from Exlax/whatever and Depends...
