Been poking around the site here for a bit now, figured it was time I said a hey-howdy!
Name is Bill, from west-central FL. New to organized growing (did throw a buncha seeds out off the porch years back, and some actually grew). This year I started a buncha seeds from a few store-bought plants last year (jalapeno, serrano and habanero), and had a bunch start. Coulda just left it at that.... but nooooooo...
So now, after picking up a couple grow lamps. heating pad, jiffy plugs, soil fixuns, etc...., I've also tried starting some T.Scorps, Choc. Habs, Cayenne, Medusa, Anaheim and Banana peppers. The wife says I'm crazy, and is probably correct.
Got a late start (never would have guessed to start them in the winter, but am prepared for next year...LOL), but hope to have at least some to seed out for next year. Plus living here helps with the extended warm seasons.
And yea... already learned that I really have to watch myself or I will love the lil buggers ta death in no time.. LOL
Anywho... thanks for letting me ramble, and thanks for all the good advice... This has definitely broadened my horizons when it comes to growing these guys
