HI from L.I.

Just signed up from Long Island NY I'm an OLD guy and owned a restaurant for 20 years and still love food (cooking and growing) unfortunately the growing part on The Island is an uphill battle SAND, CLAY, ROCKS, WET SPRING, Have had frost as late as May 31. So when I found this sight (thank you youtube!)I think there is hope. Can't wait to search all the topics Thanks, Fred

Well Fred you have come to the right place for answers, I also live in you zone with frost that late, some verities will be quite difficult to raise to maturity in the open, good luck!

:welcome: from lower SW Minnesota. I sympathize with your long winter. We have last frost about May 15 but it's closer to June 15 when it's actually warm enough outside for peppers.
