The season will be coming to an end here this weekend.....no snow on this side of the lake but 80/94 will get the wet mix....salt trucks are ready.........

One of the Wallenda bros. will be walking a tight rope between a few buildings 20 stories up over the Chicago River.........blind folded.....on Sunday evening.  The temps will be in the 20's and windy......... ...........I may just take a walk through my garden Sunday and pick the last pods off......that will be my feat..feast for the day..........

Jeff you had a great season and had the opportunity to try many  new varieties. Best of luck with your indoor start up  next year.

My first November picked pepper.  Plants are shot, but this little guy is hitting an omelet in the am.

Not sure what happened on the picante seeds.  I did a review of them and they were on a labeled plate, but the seeds are black like a manzano now.  Not like seeds look when they're bad, but like I got the wrong seeds on the plate.  So that is why they have the ***  need to get the seeds.  Same with BMJ, mine all came from a pod that must have been crossed.

Looks like a solid list so far, you plan to keep the HBJ project going next season? btw I have thoroughly enjoyed following this glog and have learned quite a bit from your experience, cheers!

Many thanks.  I will be doing that project which I believe will be F4 next year.

My pepper didn't make it in an omelet today.  I did it with some polish sausage, mushrooms, hashbrowns, and cheddar cheese.  OMG that is a wonderful way to eat taters.

My smoked hot pepper powder made it into a new dish for me.  Tomato Basil Chicken.  Pretty simple way to make it is to spice up the chicken and grill it.  Saute up some onions, peppers, and mushrooms.

Add them to a sauce pan with some tomato juice and simmer.  Add in some garlic, oregano, and basil.  If you really cook it down, you can roll them in tortilla shells, cover with some of the sauce and melt some cedar on top.

Nice work, Jeff!  The little Chenzo looks nice.
Are you looking for Roatan Pumpkin seeds?
I have an F2 OP descended from Honduran seed.

That would be great Paul....

Grinder did die on me.  Replaced it and killed the new grinder the same day.  Got another one and haven't tried it yet.  Think I will smoke some Chenzo peppers tonight...thinking applewood for these.  Love them in powder, but haven't tried smoking any yet.

Beds sure look naked without any plants in them.  Won't be long and I will be cleaning out the grow room.  Going to rearrange all the lights and try to simplify things in there this year.  Won't have any OW in there and I hope I won't have plants in 1 gallon pots needing potting up in March lol.
