hooda's Grow 2012 - Rise of the Clones

So today i just transplanted my first set of seedlings that are about 3 weeks old now and have started my new seeds I just got from pepperlover.com today.

3 week old peppers are:

Manzano
Gochu
Caribbean Red
Jalapeno
Cayenne
Bhut Jolokia
Fatalii
Aji Lemon
Aji Chuncho
Tepin
Red Habanero
Scotch Bonnet TFM
Maui Thai
7 Pod Yellow

Transplants were done a bit early for some but I think it was for the best as they were all in jiffy pellets and some of the seedlings were starting to root past the pellet and starting to dry out faster than I was comfortable with.

Pepperlover.com was awesome and threw in Orange Hab, Red Hab, and Aji Chuncho with my order

Also all of the seedlings I'm growing I still have extra seeds if anyone is interested in some trades.

Looking good! The one plant that is leaning over might need a drink of water!

Im interested in the Aji lemon and tepin send me a pm with what you are looking for a trade. Thanks

:welcome: to the glogosphere from Oregon, hooda!

Nice mix of peppers in the three week olds! The transplants
should really take off for ya. Looking forward to watching them
grow...

The one leaning is one of my Tomatillos. It didn't like the time outside during the transplant lol.

So here is a update just to show some growth over the last half week. They seem to have responded well after the transplant, well that is except the heirloom tomatoes. Not much growth but I took em out for watering and took some pics.

None of my new seeds have popped yet, which is expected, but I can't wait for them to do so.

I also have two outside pepper plants that I just re-potted because they were in bad shape over the winter. I will post some pics of those next update as well. they are De Arbol and Thai.

Megahot traded some pepper seeds with me this week so my list has grown. Real nice of him to shoot me four different types as he only requested two from me. Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah they have responded well after the transplant. They are really starting to take off now :) Germination is not going as fast as I want because I'm impatient, but two Red Hab have hooked, I'll get some pictures up soon.

Looks good Hooda! All the peppers so so green and healthy! Great variet you have there as well! How much sunlight do the ones outside get?

The first couple of days they only got indirect sunlight. Now they are out in full sun. They were really stretching for the sun when it was only indirect.

Your plants are prize specimens, hooda! Growing nicely, and looking
very robust. Good work, and good luck going forward.

Update:

Bhut Jolokia ( 5 / 6 )
Fatalii ( 4 / 6 )
Aji Lemon ( 1 / 3 )
Aji Chuncho ( 1 / 3 ) Finally something!

So some more have sprouted finally. I also transplanted some of the seedlings that already had some true leaves. But still waiting on the Tepin.

The one light you see is just a supplemental the rest are out of the shot.

Outside happy plants for the most part anyway.

I went down to my local hydro shop to pick up some CaliMagic that is made by General Hydroponics because some of my plants leaves are a bit curly and I wanted to nip it in the butt before it became and issue.

Looking good! Did you find some 5 gallon pots? I used some of the trays you have yours in. You can find flats that those pots fit in at Walter Anderson's Nursery or you can use the seed starting trays then you can bottom water.

Can't believe I'm just finding your Glog! Liking your tomatoes as well.

Good luck this year!
Shane

I haven't gotten the 5 gallons yet but I should be doing that this week. I just picked up two sets of those small pots with the trays when I was at Walmart. They are pretty convienient and even help from getting blown all over then place with this evening wind I've been getting this week.
