I have been killing these things with little effort using Bacillus Thuringiensis, BT for short. I mix some in a gallon sprayer once a week and spray my maters and peppers. It is extremely efficient with the hornworms and other caterpillars. Here's a pic of the stuff I bought at Lowes. It is claimed to be organic!!
