Seeking a pepper, thick walled and round like a hot cherry, but hotter.

Basically, a sandwich pepper for a chilihead. :)

I can send the seeds of MUNDU. They have all the qualities you seek with fire power too .

PM me if yes.

Thanks for the offer. I see some pics, but it doesn't look thick walled.

TBOMK it is thick walled for the purpose you have in mind. We used to use these for south Indian cooking especially for tempering.

Do you have a pic of it sliced?

Thanks again.

I want fresh to pickle for sandwich peppers.

By the way the isn't a wanted ad, if you know something that exists please let me know. Thanks!

Manzanos are round, thick-walled, and much hotter than cherries.

A possibility. Very thick walled and round (or bell?), decent heat. A little bigger than I want, but maybe... thanks! Got a pic sliced open?

Why not pickle cherry peppers with habs or nagas added to raise the heat level?
I can do that with my nagas sure. I want to try a new sandwich pepper though not infuse a cherry.

Same shape, but don't know if they are thick walled. You say "fairly".

Any more? The thicker the wall the better, so when you slice it, there is a lot of flesh and little space in the center. Dense is a good word. And hot!!!

Manzano have black hard seeds that should be removed before eating. Not sure I want to do that.

Still searching!

What about?:

Mayan Cobanero Love

or

Aji Brazilian Pumpkin

What about Dundicut?

NJA can you chime in on this one?

Probably thin walled since it's usually dried.

I have had cobaneros, they're not very hot but they're an excellent flavor, reasonably thick walled, and similar or slightly smaller than a hot cherry.

I also have Bod'e (I believe that's how it's spelled) peppers. They're hotter than a hot cherry, but only slightly so. If they ever make peppers again I'll get some seeds.

Thanks, how would you rate the heat of cobanero? Cherry is pretty mild. I heard cobanero was like a hab.
