I cooked some dogs a while back and thought I posted them. I went with the decorative cuts to get more crustiness but I couldn't really tell.

Homemade chili, grilled onions and cheese on both the dogs and tator tots.

I would only spiral cut a hot dog if it didn't have a natural casing. Otherwise you break the casing. But I like casing dogs best, the snap!!!!

i made a batch of chili yesterday so that means nachos, chili dogs, burritos and whatever else i can do with it. 
there is no crushed, diced tomatoes or tomato sauce or paste in my chili. i use beef stock for liquid. i don`t want my chili tasting like italian meat sauce.
