Simple recipe for hot mango salsa ... :)

1 cucumber, peeled and cut into chunks
1 mango, peeled and cut into chunks
1/2 cup cilantro
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 fresh jalapenos
Juice of 1 lime
2 tablespoons orange juice

Put into food processor, and give it a few quick bursts, until it is a smooth consistency .. not chunky, but smooth with a few chunks ... If you prefer chunky, simply dice and mix all the ingredients!

:)

If you want smooth with some chunks, the best way to get that is with a molcajete:

how would you modify this for Habs also have you tried this with papaya
Depends how much you want to kick it up a notch. I would say for cisistancy, substitute 4 habs for the 3 jalapenos (this will also help make it a sh*t load hotter, but then again, you could de-seed the habs).

i made some with habs..

dice hab
dice pineapple
dice mango
dice paypaya
sqeeze lime juice in

it was good, it was pretty freakin hot though. had me tearing up while eating it. its more practical to use the jalepenos as i prefer that, but about every other time i make it, ill make a small bowl for myself and put habs in it instead. good stuff

Ah yes, as staple of any good sauce! I just had a sauce like that (which is my next review) called "Xtreme" by Original Juan. It a habanero sauce with pure pain installed. Had me tearing up 1/4 into the burrito.

I wish I had this problem :)

Hey Naganero
I dont remember where i got this recipe, but it frickin ROX.

2 mangos
1 bunch cilantro
1 Onion
4 Happy Hab's
1 Lemon squeezed
2 Limes squeezed
1cup Crab meat
chop it all up and grub Bro. It's called "Mango Salsa". I have to use imitation crab meat out here in CO (we dont all have access to those Maryland Blues;) Marco)
I always serve this at cookoffs as a side with my regular salsa and the chicks (for some reason) really seem to dig it. I think the mango does something to dilute the fire from the habs..so if you are into the heat.......make it 8 happy Habs. Enjoy :)

you know...i had this kind of salsa ALMOST going retail but the overall reception wasn't quite as much as the others so i discarted, but it DOES rock..!! especially with the blue crabs.... and yes..it is mostly for chicks..!!! :)
