Hot pepper powders and their uses

Myself I like to use my carabian red hab powder for curries,eggs and bacon etc..my jap powder on steak or chicken.. if not maranated cayenne powder goes for pretty much anything...Whatdo you use your powders for
 
I have some Chile Today Hot Tamale habanero powder that I sprinkle on just about anything. Eggs, sandwiches, tv dinners, pizza, dips, you name it...the powder goes on/in it.
 
I like them on stuff that vinegar ruins. Good Italian dishes, pizza... and stuff it sticks too, like fries.

Almost everything. I'm starting to make a lot of spicy smoked sausage and I always use a lot of milder powders in my chili
 
I use my Dave's Zesty Blend on practically everything. I carry it with me when I go out and my main use is for my Famous Passow Pizza. A very large top coat goes on and then into the oven it goes.

ditto for me on both quotes, or I use powders sometimes because they're just easier & quicker than dealing with fresh pods (on quick meals)

really :think: like what kind of minerals, is it better for you ? I know sea salt tastes different than table salt (well it was from food items that said sea salt used) it'd take some getting used to sea salt flavor.
 
I prefer sea salt myself, it does taste better indeed, that's the main reason. It's also supposed to be healthier, so I consider that a bonus.
 
I don't think I've ever tried it - except in THSC sauces - but I heard good things about it, guess it's pretty good.

I think it's facsinationg that seawater is almost identical in composition to human blood plasma. Just maybe raw sea salt with its correct human electrolytic balance and neccesary trace minerals which we do not receive from our foods anymore, might be surprisingly beneficial when added to the diet. Sometimes thinking out the box may lead to wonderful discoveries.:rolleyes:

You ain't kidding there. I've had plenty of times where i was mountain biking here so hard i'd sweat out too much salt and i'd start getting really sick because of it. Plus, it really screws your head up bad when you're salt deprived.
