Hot Sauce/Chile Load Limit?

texas blues said:
Actually CH, I haven't bought any hotsauce in several months. I've been making my own habanero sauce and it gets hotter with each batch. I would say currently my sauce's run as such:

Frank's would be a 1 or low heat on a 1 to ten with a Naga or high extract sauce being a 10 or high heat. I would put mine about a 5. Hot enough to kill hippy's and old ladies but pretty mild by THP standards. I don't envision the day when I can pop Naga's like m&m's and I wouldn't want to. Heat is important but I gotta' have the flavor too.

Cheers, TB.

I bet you can't kill THE Hippy. (THSC) I agree with you though TB. I am growning all the superhots next year, but I am also growing a lot of low heat/seasoning peppers for making salsas and such. I like the flavor too.

It isn't that the sauces aren't hot enough, it's the flavor is soooo good with some of them you just can't get enough!! Woo hoo order up another dozen bottles!
