Not sure if any of you is/are familiar with the actual bulletin boards the forums these days are, but one of the most popular and older systems is Invision Power Board (IPB) and recently renamed IPBoard. well as an old loyal client I downloaded today its latest version 3.0 (released only few hours ago) and installed it. I gotta tell you, it's freaking amazing. it's an amazing combination of AJAX on steroids and client programming when it comes to the feel of it. the stock design is gorgeous and is *so* flexible in terms of uses. the Admin interface ain't half bad as well. you drag items from one place to another, it's super organized and even more easy to use than the older versions. it's a whole new system.
If you're a geek like me, you'd want to try it yourself. here's a link to a demo I just installed:

When you register, you're automatically with all permissions and access abilities. please don't link it elsewhere. it's especially for THP members.
