So this is how I germinate my seeds. I put them in dirt when they get leaves.

I like your grow list.Very interesting varieties I'm putting the Vietnamese tear jerked on my list for next year.Your germination technique has definitely caught my attention, big space saver!!!what is your germination percentage?Hope you have a great grow and harvest.

Well I haven't calculated it, but practically, if the seed is viable, they germinate and if they aren't, they don't.

My wife is allergic to the c. chinense chilies so I'm trying to grow more c. bacattum, frutescense and annuums this year.

Do you have a heat mat under the germination cups?

No, I'm keeping in on top of the cabinets over the stove. That way they'll get the heat from being high and the warmth of cooking several times a day. They're averaging 75f from what I can tell.

Hot stuff, are you still interested in getting some of those Fatalli XXX seeds I was offering?   Plenty available.

PS your Inbox is full!
Let me take care of that! Sure, thanks.

The seeds are germinating

Take a look

Pulling them out gently.

You don't have to worry about them being leggy because you're going to plant them up to the leaves anyway. The stem will send out roots.

So far about half of them have sprouted. Hopefully in the next week or so the tougher guys will finally start sprouting.

Great success with the towel/cup technique.
The starts look great!

Lookin good...

How are you keeping track of all the varieties? Im noticing a sparse amount of popsicle sticks...
I just use one per type in a row. They'll get individual plastic ones when they are planted or transplanted to individual containers.

Not happy. Something is eating my chili plants to the nubs. Put out a trap for them last night but so far, no one has shown up. Perhaps later.
