How much would you spend on your dog?

both my dogs are pedigree's i paid 650 for one of them the other i paid 1000 and this was a few years ago since then they have gone up in price to purchase and i my self would spend any amount on my pets

It depends on the age of the dog, what the problem is, and what they will have for quality of life after the procedure.

If you say you would spend WHATEVER on a dog no matter what, it isn`t about the dog, but
about you :)

Good luck with your dog!

You don't have kids do you kcs?

Not saying a kid would made a difference in how you treat your pets. I'm saying a working class guy can't afford to spend $7000+ on a pet if he has kids.

Best of luck to the dog.

Personally I wouldn't. Well actually I can't. Not sure about my answer if I had the cash. Doubtful.

Well we received a call from vet, zoe was doing so well they sent her home early. Other than a shaved belly and the underside of her neck with umteeen staples, she's back to her old self. A lot of restrictions though, understandably so. Thanks for all the positive comments.

I feel your pain in the pocket...and I feel mostly like Willard and PD...Roscoe is not just a dog or a pet...he is a valued member of our family and since we have no children of our own...well, you see where I'm goin'...anyway...if you are a pet owner and can't afford the vet bills...please let that puppy go to a home with people that can...nothing is more dear in life to me than my Roscoe...his annual physical costs between 800-1000 USD a year and I don't even blink..I may have to go without some beer or whiskey, or even miss a trip to Luckenbach but that doesn't matter...and like Willard said..I bet he loves you more than you love him (no disrespect to anyone that has posted...just a fact)...

that IS a Dogs Purpose...to be loyal to his master....forever

read the book "A Dogs Purpose"..........................
