Hucklebuck's 2010 peppers

This will be the second year growing peppers. This year I am growing: Aji Omnicolor, Bhut Jolokia, Cheiro, Condor's Beak, Devil's Tongue Yellow, Fatali, Chocolate Habanero, Red Savina, Limo, Naga Morich, Scotch Bonnet Yellow, Trinidad Scorpion, and Thai.

It looks like My Chocolate Hab is the first one getting pods. 9 others have had flowers for a couple weeks, but no pods. I don't know if it's too early or just the temps.

I'll try to post some pics if I can figure out how.

I have 50+ plants in pots and only 2 with pods so far. Same thing lots of flowers no pods net. They will come.

Great list... I really wanted Devil's Tongue and could not find it in time for this year.

See I wonder about the heat thing. It's been in the 90+ range for over a month. Some days in the 80's but not many. Also a bunch of days that cracked over 100. And my Bhut is taking off, along with a bunch of habs. My Thais also finally decided to ripen and should have my first edible Thai tomorrow or tomorrow afternoon. Then again it's about to rain and maybe the added humidity to the current heat wave will slow down my plants, although they'll get the nice boost in growth from the nutes in the rain. Hope things pick up for ya though!

Here are some pics... Hope I did it right.

Nice lookin' plants, we've had great pepper weather so far this year.

Your Scotch Bonnet looks like mine...all wrinkly and crispy looking. I've treated it just like all my other plants and they are doing fine, not sure what the issue with it is. Have you treated yours any different than the others?

I treated the Scotch Bonnet, Red Savina and Chocolate Hab the same. I think it got burned with fertilizer. I am doing some experimenting this year. Some in pot's, some not. Some fertilizer, some not. Some with peat moss in the soil, and some with just plain soil(I have bad soil). I have chosen lots of variables to try and see what works best.
