I could really use you help

A little update:
 
Some wonderful genious suggested that if we were very, very lucky the lever could have fallen further down in the steering column, so my hubby tore the column even more apart than it already was and lo and behold he found the lever wedged between some other parts down the column..
 
It seems that every once in a while you can get lucky and we sure did. :party:
 
So thanks a lot to those of you that participated in my/our quest to find a lever. My husband was very impressed that I could ask a chili forum for help with a car and actually get it.
 
I of course was not surprised because I already know you to be the most helpful bunch around. :P
 
Awesome Nulle! I got to be honest tho, I wish I was the genius that thought of that. LOL Sometimes the answer is so simple it's practically smacking you in the face! I am very glad you found the part! Now you'll be rockin' and rollin' in no time!
