I got your cutting board right here!!

don't be mad at me, TB, but I don't actually use that cutting board. It's an end cut from a gluelam ridgebeam from a house. Someone brought 3 of them over for a bonfire one time and we all said "wow, that would be a great cutting board" And if it didn't weigh about 60 pounds, I might actually use it! Another guest did take one home, but I don't know if they ever put it into use. I just couldn't resist!

I had to roll it end over end out of the firewood pile and I think I threw my back out trying to lift it onto the table. I guess that's what I get for trying to play a joke on ya~

Your board is really is an awesome board and it's a REAL cutting board.

ohhhh you evil woman you! I love it! You really should have kept the ruse going. Imagine the chaos and mayhem!

whew! glad you're not ticked at me! But I just couldn't resist, especially after we had said that it would make a good cutting board. I'm gonna go weigh that thing...brb~

well, I weighed the thing and now I don't feel so bad about struggling a little to get it up onto the table. I thought I was just being a wimp trying to deadlift 60 pounds but that thing is 85 pounds! OK, I don't feel bad about that.

It looks rather nice, now that the bleach has dried on it~

I tried to get a picture of the digital read-out, but the scale kept turning off before I could get the camera focused in on the display.

SL lumber has all kinds of chemicals in it, good thing you don't use it as a cutting board.

Good gag though. ;)

I use roll-up silicone "boards" One for poultry....one for beef.......fish.....and veggies. (you've seen them in nearly every DC post I've ever made) They're good sized, and easy to fit in the sink to wash.

My wood cutting board (which is HUGE) is now a decorative piece next to my stove. ;)

alright, I figured I'd better post a real board, so here's a board I actually use. It's an 18x24 food service board..

It's kept out in the salsa kitchen. Sometimes it's easier to prep things out there using the veggie sinks and big wash basins.

mrs. blues got me this beast of a cutting board for fathers day. I've been looking for one like this but the one's I've seen cost a fortune. She got this one for $30 bucks...I LOVE IT LOOOOOOOONG TIME. Dig it...

Post your board here!

Cheers, TB.

If you save seeds put me on the list. Ummm sorry wrong thread

I have one of these amazing tassie oak end-grain butcher blocks. The natural antibacterial properties of wood means I don't need multiple, knife dulling plastic boards. The end-grain means it's kind on my knives.
