I just joined Facebook and I thought it would be good to connect with the Chileheads around the world in another way. Put a face to go with the online name. If you have a facebook account or wanted a reason to make one, it is easy to find this group. Just type in "Chileheads" into the search bar on top and it will be the first group on the list. Join up and let's see how many Chileheads we can connect with across the world.

The best part with Facebook is connecting with old friends from your past. I just spoke with a buddy I had not heard from in about 20 years.

I am just trying to bring all the Chileheads together, all websites, and to promote them all in the same place through the "Chilehead" group name. Come join the party THP. A lot of NYers waiting to experience your music, and you can find a lot of old High Skool buds on there like I have.

Haven't really checked out Facebook. Maybe.

They allow people from NJ on there? Now THP will never join. :lol: John, just type chileheads in the search bar and click on it and join. It is that easy. No invite necessary.

But, I very, very, very reluctently joined MySpace and still feel quite dirty for doing so. i can't bring myself to going yet another networking site.

Athough that free micro beer does sound tasty! :lol:

I totally understand. If it wasn't a friend telling me he found someone that I haven't seen such a long time I wouldn't have joined or even looked at it. What Facebook offers that MySpace doesn't is a search engine to find old school mates, names of friends you might want to speak to again. Such a well-travelled man such as yourselves might have run into a few good souls along the way. Perhaps a loss love that you miss? Eh? ;)

lol, actually, that why I joined myspace a few years back. They (before Facebook....dear god, am I actually defending myspace....ugh...now I really feel dirty) had the option to search for people that went to skool with you.

I have seen their search, it is very different and not too effective. You can also instant message the person in real time which is a cool feature. Best part, Facebook has a Chilehead group listing and MySpace does not.

and another thing, there is no Tom on Facebook. You should see how many chileheads have all ready joined up? Well one way to find out.
