I now -HATE- potato

Daqatz, less than you'd think.  Half that is red pontiac which people want really small.  It would be a real shame to harvest that early, but after we clear a row we replant the same row with something else so I dont feel so bad about wasting the space.  The trick is figuring out what to plant where n when.  Sometimes we've gotten three crops from the same chunk of dirt, but usually that last one is touch and go with the first frost.  Still, even if we plant things like corn late we wind up with goat feed.

Heh last season we turned less then 20 pounds of seed into more then 200 pounds of potatoes. So seems kinda wasteful.

Join the club!!! Only kidding my friend as a person of Irish decent I'm often kidded about being a potato farmer.
The Irish also hold the potato in high esteem!!! Just having a laugh my friend!! :) warped minds here gather quickly!! Lol
