I took my Bangladeshi Nagas and regrew the seeds and have come up with completely different-looking chilis. Most are long and skinny but still brutally hot, however, my latest 3 are different:

Now compare these to the ones the Indian chili lady ate:

Well, as of now, only the shape and size. As you can see they aren't fully ripe yet so i've got to wait another week b4 I pick them to taste.

I started off with these:

Then i grew out the seeds and got this:

And now I have something that looks like either a hab/naga cross or something closer to the Bhut Jolokia.

Then you need new glasses. One thing you can't tell from the pics is the big differences in size between the original to the current.

Yes that is exactly my point. I just tasted those 3 chilis in the 1st pic and they are the hottest things I have grown yet. I will continue to selectively breed these out and start another thread in about 6 months to post pics of what I get.
 
I reckon you're onto something then because if you're saying they're the hottest you've grown they must be extreme because I watched your youtube clip and that s*** looked hot! I look forward to your next post. btw - great pics (except for the slightly fuzzy one)!!

Yeah thanks Chilliman. I broke down and bought a 7MP Pentax camera that takes nice shots as u can tell. The fuzzy pic is from a cellphone. I won't be sacrificing my mouth (and stomach) for anymore videos! I took the smallest nibble of these chilis and they really lit me up! :P
 
Very nice Philliperv. I'd appreciate it if you could save some seeds from the hybridized version when ready. :P I think you may be onto something also.
