Home schooling has tremendous potential.  Just imagine a group of educated parents taking turns teaching the kids what they know best.  The kids could have a mid-college level understanding of any subject of interest by Jr. high.
 
Unfortunately, the above tends to be the rule rather than the exception.  (Stoopid Humans strike again!)
 
the only thing you need to home school kids in these days is chemistry and physics.
 
the high school curriculum is so shitty and dumbed down these days.  if your kids super smart, you can send him to community college night school for differential equations and linear algebra.
 
chemistry and physics labs... only thing imo.

Yes, but does he have the flux capacitor and 1.21 gigawatts of electrical power to operate it? I think not, sir. Further, I submit to you that without that, there's no way to travel back to the Jurrasic period regardless of whether or not the DeLorean reaches 88 mph.
 
That said, if he's very, very lucky, he has DeLorean's DeLorean, with a trunk full of cocaine. Then he can get so stupidly coked up that he imagines himself back in time, rather than actually having to travel there.
