I think the weathermen are smoking crack

So at the beginning of the week I checked weather.com and they showed that the temps for yesterday, today and tomorrow are supposed to be in the low to mid 70's. I checked again each day before leaving for work, just to make sure that they didnt change. This morning I get up and they temps in the low to mid 70's and partly cloudy so I put my peppers outside to soak up some rays. The high for the day so far is 58 cloudy/overcast skies and rain. UGGGGGGGG
I watered my plants yesterday thinking that with it being sunny today they will need it and also because a couple of them started to wilt a bit.
How can they be 10-15 degrees off with their temp forecast and still have a job. I mean if i were to tell someone that they need a whole new computer and only thing that was broken was their mouse, I would lose my job.

I just hope that the water I gave them yesterday and what they got today doesnt do any serious damage to them with over watering. I had over watered earlier this year and as sson as I started to see the leaves turning yellow I stopped watering for over a week. They got water last Friday and yesterday and now again today because of the "missed" forecast.

Ok rant over back to your regularly schedule events

I know what you mean. High here today was supposed to be 54 F. Currently at 39 F and holding. I just hope I get home in time to turn on my greenhouse heater before frost sets in.

Spring season forcast was for above average temps. We've seen mostly below average all season so far with but a hand full of above average temps. :tear:

The weather here has been crazy. I was up half the night listening to spotters on the Ham Radio, and constantly silencing tornado warning alerts on my phone. It was 80 degrees yesterday, and is 50 today. Good 'ol Missouri weather... If you don't like it, wait a day or so.

Mine seem to be totally clueless... they tell me it's bright and sunny when it's completely overcast and sprinkling. One would think they could LOOK OUTSIDE. When they have said 70-90% chance of rain we get nothing and it's bright and sunny, days when it's 10-20% chance of rain we get downpours for hours. Our temps are normally spot on though.
Normally in the summer they just tell us bright and sunny with 50% chance of rain; pretty sure that's just to cover their butts. I'm almost happier with that kind of weather forecast because it just tells me they have no clue and to expect anything

Back in 94-95 they called for some flurries, well about 36" of flurries it finally stopped.
They have also called for massive amounts of freezing rain, all of the schools closed because it was supposed to be really bad. Yeah not even a single drop hit my house.

Today is better though, they said 10% chance of showers through the day and then T storms tonight. Was very hesitant to put my peppers out but did this morning. There is a nice breeze going and it is over cast so will deff help with hardening off. Will be bringing them in tonight for the weekend as it is supposed to get down into the 30 and a frost warning for sunday.
