My fathers' family ate the N.American Pokeweed which as long as the small leaves are cooked is fine. I have had it and thought it was similar to Spinach. Are you growing it intentionally ?!? I guess it can be pickled ? Kimchi ? I'd try it !!

I just read it- interesting too. I just killed it as I was so angry that I loved and cared for it as a chilli. If it was another situation, the health properties would be intersing to me.

Maybe this plant has adapted by imitating chile seedlings and duping unsuspecting chile heads into nurturing it into a healthy plant?
