i feel your pain on the driving..i just figured out the other day that i'm gonna spend plenty of time on the road in the next week. leaving friday after my physical and heading to my friends house outside of gainsville to spend the night. that's about 2 hours, and him and his wife are gonna watch my snake for me. next day i'm off to helen, ga (7 hours) to take care of some things at my parents house in the mountains. the next day i'm driving to their house in mexico, mo (~12 hours). after that, we're driving to the detroit area to spend some time with my dad's side of the family for the holiday. then back to missouri..i don't even know how long that drive will be, but i'm hoping they won't make me drive too much.

which, by the way, means i'm going to disappear from here for a bit. should be back after the holiday until february, then i'm off for at least 3 months of no internet. i'll be back for sure though!
Wow, I hope you stay safe on the road!

IGG - so what popped up ?
Found something that I've been searching for for the past 3 and a half years which I can not mention on the internet until much later. It's for my "ongoing education".

Yup: What chilehunter said. Theres a certain kind of nutcase that gets out on the road this time of year so take care all.

I'll be heading off in a couple of hours for a 3 hr trip up Highway 1 then turn right till I hit the beach. It'll be like a trip to the shops compared to you guys.

Well, today I did the thing I've wanted to do for a while and I'm happy to report I'm back with more knowledge and experience. Not what I was expecting but more experiments need to be done in the future. I'll be going over the experince and examining it more in depth for a while.

Pam, I've got all the stuff needed for the energy clear. Do I do that around the car or on the car or in it?

When you titled this thread "PASSOW"S OUT" . I thought you meant something else...not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)
UGH! I just reread this. Now I get it. hahaha. No, I'm still straight ;)

Here's a pic of the car I'm driving:

DD...."clockwise"? Is that because of the direction the swirly turns in the toilet? I was led to believe that the swirly in the southern hemisphere is the exact opposite of the northern. By going the same direction of the swirly, i.e. clockwise, would not the anti-matter forces open a portal to a planet killing black hole and thus crush and destroy the planet? Just sayin'...
Cheers, TB.

Tracking Passow

Well, IGG arrived here safely yesterday afternoon.....albeit a bit cold. Seems the heater he bought for his car isn't working all that well. That, and the fact that there seems to be quite a chilly breeze coming in through the firewall.

So, after a quick chit-chat, we headed over to Kelly's. It's a local microbrewery that has some pretty killer Green Chile Chicken Soup on the menu. After a couple of beers, we left and headed over to REI (an outdoors & camping supply) to see if we could rectify his cold feet problem. Well, they didn't have any electric socks, but we found these shoe inserts that heat up and last for about 5 hours. He bought 3 pair.

After that, we came back home and picked up my wife to head off to Chama River Brewing Company for more microbrew and dinner. For the appetizer, we opted for the green chili cheese beer fondue. That stuff is ridiculous!!!! Dinner was good and we bought a growler (about 4 pints) of their Amber Ale for home consumption.

This morning, I got up and make a pot of coffee, and he's getting things in order for his 3rd leg of the trip.
