Importing Seeds

I just went through the process of getting Level 2 Access with the USDA that allows me to import pepper seeds. It wasn't a very hard process. I hate it when US customs confiscate my packages and destroy the seeds.

I am going to place an order with these folks and was wondering if anybody wanted something from them? http://www.chileseeds.co.uk/hot_chili_pepper_seeds_5.htm I can bring them in and then distribute them. All I would want is for you to pay your own postage from me to you and of course any seeds you order. Let me know soonest. Thanks.

Not sure yet, still looking the site over. If you're interested in getting something from them let me know and I'll just make one order. I've got a couple of other people interested in getting some from them too and they've just given me a list.

I'm hoping to do the order by Sunday so if anyone wants in send me a PM with what you would like. You can pay for your seeds after I receive them and have them on the way to you. The type of postage I use will be up to you.

I have one small favor to ask; please make sure you can pay for your seeds when I'm ready to mail them to you. I'm not a rich guy. Thanks.

Another very good example of Government over regulation! It's just another excuse to make them feel more important and add another tax to us.Feeding the monster .Why do you need to purchase seeds from overseas Patrick?I'm pretty sure that these are all avail. in States from reputable sellers,or someone on this forum might have what you require. What are you looking for? Thanks for the offer though!

I've got a hard on for their Naga Morich seeds. Supposed to have been run through a HPLC and came up with over 1.5 million SHU's. Plus the AOC Piment d' Espelette Basque Chilli Pepper and who knows what else.:)

Got to try something new you know.

I've got the Espelette's if you like.My Nagas are Nada's so far!I'm still keeping the faith on them I guess.Healthy plants, not even flowering now!
Some plants don't like Florida.

I've had no problems ordering from chileseeds in the past, but the last few years they've gotten into selling "new" strains that are unproven, unreliable, and quite expensive, and most of these are not even grown by them but just imported, marketed with fancy names and unproven SHU, and then sold for lots of $$ :(

You're not giving me a lot of confidence POTAWIE, do you have any second hand knowledge?

The exchange rate is pretty bad right now too, 5 pounds is over $8 US. This may be a wash. I'll wait until Sunday to see what others would like.

Hey Pat got 1 going outside right now.Sedds won`t be a prob with all the pods hanging of it!
