A few of the people at the house smoke, but outside. Also, will try and get some soilless mix in a few days before another round of seeds go into the starting tray. Didn't know about MG products being too hot but it sounds very likely. Thanks for the help guys, will keep this thread updated as I work this issue out. Maybe it'll help someone else too.
 
AJ's on the money--as usual. The MG potting soil is way too hot for seedlings. If you have to use it wait until they get at least 6-8 inches tall and you're going to repot them. Then I would cut it by 50% with some other type of growing medium. Good luck.
