Its been a while...

Hi everyone,

Its been a while since I've posted, I've been stalking the boards though and it is great to see lots of new members and the usual shenanigans going on around the place. Things seem pretty much the same which is good!

Unfortunately my plants on the pool fence now resemble a chilli plant graveyard, I have one lone plant that has sent up some shoots but with a particularly frosty winter and being somewhat preoccupied the plants were left to fend for themselves and didnt come off too well.

I'm still not eating any chilli - it doesnt go well with Em's reflux and I'm still feeding her so it'll be another few months before I can start to rebuild my tolerance. The drunken chef thread makes me sad :( I cant participate like I used to!

We're doing well here, Em is growing so fast - she's nearly 8 months old now! Crawling and getting into everything - she definitely keeps me busy.

A pic of Em to keep you updated, now that I"m more on top of things I'll get back to posting and making my presence felt! Hope everyone is well.

Hi Mel! Good to hear from you. I do see you lurking sometimes. Em is a doll, just like I knew she would be. Don't worry about the Drunken Chef. It will be here when you are ready again. Glad to have you back.

MEL! So good to have you chime in and what a SWEET baby girl. She's beautiful!

Thanks for sharing and it's great to see your little angel. I've been thinking of you. Glad to hear from you. You'll be able to indulge in the spicy stuff again soon. Give Emmy a year and that's a good start for her.

We have a couple other Mom's on here now that are under "spicy quarentine", (might have to form a sub-topic group ;) ).

Anyway, thanks for chiming in and please keep us posted and stay in contact..
