Jalapeno and Serrano hot sauce recipe

I had some jalapenos and serranos that I needed to use.  Seeded the jalapenos and smoked them on the Traeger.  Followed the recipe here.  Doubled it due to the amount of jalapenos I had.  Tastes pretty good!

It seems a bit heavy on the vinegar, but you never know until you taste it.

Thats about on par with the amount of vinegar that I use when I cook up a batch.  Sometimes it can be a little much, but never really over powering.

Just give it 20 or so days to age and the vinegar will move to the back and allow the pepper flavor to shine!! looks delicious to me!!!! Bring on the tacos!!!

I thought it sounded like too much vinegar as well.  But it was pretty good!
 
I ran it through the larger pore size food mill for a thicker consistency.
