Had no idea pods would grow so well in Wisconsin. Wish this was one of my hobbies when I lived there.

Nice work!
Thanks man! I live only like 10 blocks away from Lake Michigan so we kinda have a little micro climate being that close to the lake. Stays warmer during the fall compared to inland counties. The nights are very mild also compared to other counties. We have a little saying here that "It's cooler near the lake" for summer and "warmer near the lake" during the winter. Where in WI where you living?

LOL... I lived in Milwaukee, Bayview, so I know all about "cooler by the lake"!!!   I had a great back yard with plenty of room for a pepper garden, but I just wasn't into it at the time.  I raced at the velodrome in Kenosha from 1994-2009 - still have a few friends there.

I lived right around the corner from there. About 5 houses down from Big Star, if you remember that? Small, small world man! My kid loves to ride his bike there!

My brother lives in Ohio and says the same thing about Lake Erie, he's about 300 yds. from the lake. And when I lived in Long Island, Ny., it was warmer there than 8+ hours south in Va. during the winter.

Alright THP, sorry been busy as hell lately!!! The bowhunting season started here in WI!!!!!!!!! Sorry THP, but bowhunting is farrrrr more important this time of year than peppers. I hit a 10 pointer opening morning, only to never find him :(. Still sad about that. This weekend I shot an old doe from 5 yards off the ground. Got out of my stand cause it was dark in the woods and I seen a group of about 14 does in the hay field. Walked down to the alfalfa along the edge of the woods, leaned against a tree, and had a fawn running around me having what I call puppy fits. They get all excited and run in circles for no reason. Well sure as shit all them deer in the field spooked for whatever reason and ran right to me and stopped as soon as they seen me. Within a second a let an arrow fly a smoked this doe. Ran about 50 yards down the valley and hit the bottom and started runnin up the soy bean field and in mid stride tipped over and tumbled back down the beans. But anyways... here is some pics for this week.

Peppers still kickin in October!

Primos

"Reapers"

Yellow 7

Goats Weed

Bonnet X Bell

I think I have a couple more pics.....

Thanks guys! @ Roper, tastes like a bell pepper, sweet and all but spicy! Whats better than that?

@ Ramon, tried to keep it short, I can talk about bowhunting whitetail all day long and never get sick of it, just like talking peppers with people!!

Yellow Mushroom, quit picking these pods, have two plants that are prolific as all hell. Have two Gallon zip lock bags full of just smoked pods and another gallon bag of dehydrated pods.

MoA , inground here in WI.

Stalk porn!

These things are beastly!

Yellow Brainstrain, seeds from Judy.

Isolated MoA seeds from the plants down in TN! Over 200 in that pile on the left.

Awesome Jamison!

I love the pods pics, the trunk pics...can't beat it when they have "bark"!

Pulled a few plants for school project for the kids, teacher asked "how old are these? They have bark". :D

Now to my favorite part...the deer!  Congrats! Scoring a doe IMHO with a bow is harder than a buck, and that's said after 30 years of bowhunting. They rarely come by alone, too many dang eyes! I could go on...as you know!

Have a great weekend!

Looks great man! I am thinkin about starting to hunt and I got a buddy that said he would let me tag along. Lookin forward to some cold and early mornings, lol.

The plants and pods look great man, really healthy. Great to see them putting out in October!
