Justin great to read that the bonnets have really taken off for you ... those NeBru look good and I am sure you will get many more. Over the pond Marabella Red and Yellow and that weird looking Jamaican long which hangs like a pendant are producing some lovely pods. Saraga pods are moving from an initial orange to a nice red. Will post some pictures this weekend ... please save me a patch or a row for 2017 as you will be getting more bonnet seed later in the year

I can't get over how beautiful all of your pods are. Every one is picture perfect. I'm really diggin' the color of your BBG7 x JPGS and I love the texture of the Chocolate Lava x BBG7. Oranges are gorgeous and yellows are bright. Very impressive!

Thanks John. All the bonnets I got from you are true I believe and doing well. I need to give a better report on everything, hope to do that soon. Definitely going to be another Trident section. I think I want to grow even more bonnets next year. Just such great tastes and pods are so much more intersting than habaneros.

Thanks, wish all my pods were as good. Most of these were first pods set, they are almost always the best of the plant it seems. Yeah, I am loving the looks of those BBg7 x JPGS also. That choco lava x unknown bbg7 is kinda uniq, very bumpy but unlike most other bbgs I have grown, very think walled. I haven't tried one yet, but figure they should be damn hot. And for the most part I am orange challenged, I have so many orange varieties last 2 years that turn yellow. Not sure if its weather, soemething in the dirt or just bad luck. 2nd year in a row from reliable sources my orange primos are yellow again + many other varieties.

Been too busy for updates and uploading to photobucket etc. Been picking about 10 to 20 new varieties a day now that ripening has finally kicked in. Have taken so many pics, but just won't have time to put them all on here, but heres a few I liked in last few days.

Been looking for a pheno like this one for a few years now. Seems they are always off or just not really 7 Pot like. This is a 7 Pot Peach. Finally perfect color, and great shape, texture everything. These really remind me of my 7 Pot Jonah's in shape and feel.

One of my favorte habaneros from last year. Only had like 5 pods last year, but this year, got it started better and will produce a nice amount. This first one has been ripe for a while. Good strong flavor and pretty high habanero heat on these.
Purple Habanero

John, any of yours ripe yet? If so they like this, haven't tried them yet, but look pretty nice. I hope to try them, but with all the varieties this year, going to miss a lot.
Nagabon x Yellow Primo

These were to be Shabu Shabu, don't look like the pods I got the seeds from, they got angry over the winter I guess. Some sort of cross probably, but some big hot pods. Damn camera makes all the reds super glossy. Hard to get them to look right. Need a new phone.

Fantastic update! I love peach and chocolate pods. Those 7 Pot Peach pods are beautiful! Podzilla Chocolate? I haven't heard of that one but I want it. Lol. Great pheno and texture on those! Everything looks great!

Justin what's the story on Jabba the hut yellow they kinda remind me of big versions of the moa yellow scotch bonnets that looked like yellow cardi scorpions?

Well, I can't keep up anymore, hard to keep this updated with time it takes to move the files around. If anyone is on Facebook also, look me up there. I use a photo album there to track all my pics. I simply have too many to begin to post up here every day. I am adding 20 to 40 pics a day to my Pod album. I do it all from my phone very little effort required. I will try to get back here soon as I can, but the impending harvests coming lead me to believe I will have 0 free time for the next month trying to keep up. If anyone wants any pods, look me up. I still check in here and check messages here, just not as much time to create a post. But heres a few of the 80 or so varieties I have picked in the last 2 days. Also a few of my bucket plants which have recently exploded with growth and pods.

Couple updates on a few plants I have in buckets that have really taken off in the past few weeks.

This has become maybe my favorite plant. Its a standard red bbg7, but a great pheno. A month ago I thought I might not get but 15 pods from it. And all attempts at isolating had failed. Now all the sudden plant has 50 to maybe even 100 pods and at least 10 formed in a netted branch. Looks like should have plenty of good seeds for the future. Its almost 5 feet tall from the ground now.

This is the red bbg7 and a morugalah that is setting some pretty impressive pods, quite a few shapes on it, but probably has well over 100 pods now and hundreds more blossoms.

Hard to really see them all, but the poddage on the morugalah is incredible. Have other plants that have exploded like this recently also, hope theres time left to ripen for some of the others. At least the bucket ones I can move to the garage if a freeze comes.

This pic is a bit blurry but can see the cluster bbg7 after all these months of dropping blossoms is finally starting to set some pods.

Now a few pods just picked.

This one was from 7 Pot Brown seeds. I figure its most likely a cross, but everything about it seems like 7 pot brown except its pretty long. Some of the early pods were even longer. Kinda look like bhuts in pictures but to hold them first hand they sure have all the qualities of 7 pot brown more so than a bhut.

I never get tired of these gnarly peach bhuts the wicked mike strain.

Another ineteresting unknown. Really unique pod shape. The are solid as a rock. Going to be trying these this week.

Justin the bottom reds look SB7J's .... not sure if I sent you seed of these last season with the other bonnets but if I did they were Steve Queen's (Fort Lauderdale) SB7J select
