Jedisushi06 2014 Grow, Return of the JEDI

I started fairly early this year of 2013 for 2014.  I had a good garden season this summer and grew lots of super hots and non super hots.  I produced over 200 pounds of tomatoes for canning, and lots of cucumbers for pickles.  I used my last big tomato and pepper harvest to can salsa.  I plan on growing more plants this year and trying to grow some types i did not get around to this summer.  I also plan on growing peas, tomatoes, rhubarb, mixed greens, pumpkins, and non super hot peppers and thai chiles for drying.  Here's an updated list of what i'm growing so far.  I have plans for lots more peppers so stay tuned.  I want to thank all the great people on here that taken their time to send me seeds to grow, i want to give a shout out to Romy 6, Bhut Camp, megahot, Jack Superhot, Tmudder, Spicegeist, Colorado Ronin, Judy at pepperlover, silver surfer, Semilnas, Nigel Carter, Bill Moore, chile beast, Brian Seal, lucky dog hot sauce, Chris Joyner, my favorite cowboy, old barn nursery, and old dirty bastard.

I'm thinking  seriously about spending 20 bucks on a bag of Mykros innoculant. Whether for in ground or container to help with any other short comings my mix or soil may have.
Yeah i have some too but i'm not feeding it to my plants till this summer, when i start brewing tea.

Plants are looking stellar!

They're ready to hit dirt yesterday.

Sorry about the expensive soil. I just use the cheapo 12 buck bags here, plants seem to like it!
Crappy part is that's all the grow shops around here are selling for soil.
I'm keeping these in pots but the smaller ones i got growing will hit the dirt about mid june, depending on how bad the wind is outside.

I get my potting mix from our local feed store. 3 cu ft of Pro-Mix for $25. Dont know what size you get of your type. Probably some price gouging going on in CO for potting mix?

Nice looking plants. Awesome window for some real sunlight. Still waiting for a pic of the ice scream.
Okay hold on.  It's just now getting it's wings and branching out.

Not sure why this plant is unhappy?

That meat loaf doesn't look like what grandma used to make. Looks good. Food and plants. Last year I had to Chocolate Hab plants one did great the other very unhappy . By unhappy I mean 3 inches tall and the other 12 inches tall. I wanted to pluck her but didn't have the heart. I'm glad I didn't because she stared to grow. She got busher and out pod my bigger plant.

My red nagalah was really bushy last year but produced over 30 pods. I struggled with the reapers and the chocolate scorpion plants. They refused to put out pods. So did the red primo

Plants look great!

You have a real challenge with your climate. I had Reapers last year and they finally produced a decent harvest in November. I did start them late compared to this year, the main reason I have plants dying for dirt day at the moment...

Wow I been away too long. Love the progress Jedi. Especially the douglahs in the window. You pruning those or is that just their habit? Either way they look great. You're pretty far ahead... When is your plantout?

Mid june usually, but might it might be earlier this year because of this crazy warm weather were having here.  I don't prune my pepper plants at all.  I do prune my tomatoes though.

Mid June?

Those gals are going to be monsters by then!

Good job!
Yeah we can get snow i may, but usually do in late april.  Then we get our spring winds, but after that it jumps straight into summer.  I had plans for a hoop house but since were moving to missouri in the future i decided against it so far.
