Yes, the cost of using Jiffy pellets vs other mediums definitely has to be taken into consideration too if you are watching your pennies!
Luckily for me, it just so happens that the place I get mine from had them at half price (reduced to clear) this year. The ones I use are not actually the Jiffy brand and it looks as though the shop is replacing their range with the Jiffy ones. And to tell the truth, this MAY be a problem for me in the future due to them having two sizes of the Jiffy brand ones, both of which are smaller and bigger than the ones I use. I have found the size of mine to be perfect and will not be using something smaller and will certainly not be forking out even more cash for something bigger!
