Joyner's 2016 Pepper Party - Starting Late or maybe Right on Time!

Getting a late start this year but hopefully it does not provide any impact to yield. I have several plants that started in the cheater tank so not everyone is a seed waiting to hit the dirt. I also decided to cut back BIG TIME on super hots this year and focus more on heat and flavors that most enjoy as well as ones that are most excellent smoked!

Nice variety......always hard when one wants to cut back......its hard to say who is going to make the team that year. :)

Awesome selection, best of luck on your grow!

Side note.  Is "Prik Key GNU" the correct spelling?  If so, shouldn't number 52 use that spelling as well?  Then again, does it really matter..  not really.   ;)

I copied it as written from Thailand ;) I do agree but leave it as written so I know which bag is which.

Good job! Sometimes late starts are better than early starts - yield wise. I now generally wait until February for the chinenses and mid-March for the annuums.

Ps. Your Mystery Wines are some of my most robust at the moment. :)

I love the way they grow! Great to hear

I was wondering if you had started yet. Due to some terrible germination rates I just can't understand, I've got a late start this year as well. Started four 72 cell trays the first week of Feb. and only had a handful of varieties pop by the end of Feb. So restarted all 4 trays plus a couple more March 1. Starting to see some popping. My plants were big and pretty root bound last year so maybe this later start will be better. I guess we'll both see lol. Great list and I'm looking forward to following and checking out your damn fine pod/flower porn

Thanks Tony, hope we both do well and if not it was meant to be...

After getting a cover last year for my grow area I found I outgrew the area before plant out so a late start might be a blessing in disguise.

Best of luck with your grow.  March is still a decent time to plant.

I'm sure the thai varieties will produce plenty of fruit before the season winds down.
