Jumping to big buckets from solo cup

So plants are getting (relatively) big and I am growing them indoors.  I want to have monster plants one day so what would happen if I bought a 15 gallon bucket like this:

and took a solo cup plant like so, and put it straight into that 15 gallon bucket full of seed starter soil with lots fish emulsion?

Would it be too much of a shock for the plant?  Or would the plant be on its way to becoming the Andre the Giant of pepper plants?

The steel bucket is a bit strange but I guess if you drilled enough drainage it could work. Are you using the steel for looks?
 
Solo cup to 15 gallon is fine just make sure you don't over water. Might want to put a wick in just to be sure. Just run a piece or two of a mop head through a drainage hole or two of your bucket before you fill it with soil. This will help pull the perched water from the soil at the bottom.
 
Are you going to grow the plant in seed starter mix its entire life or change the soil when it gets bigger. A potting mix would be much better especially for drainage. Pro Mix, Happy Frog heck even Miracle Gro potting mix will work. Seed starting mix tends to hold water.

If you end up getting monsters, and have to eventually move them outside, keep an eye on the soil temps. I have a friend who uses horse troughs and they bake in the sun. Until he put a shade cloth over them, the plants just couldn't handle it.
