New batch of homemade ito-wakame kelp extract. The kelp has been rinsed twice and its finishing up rehydrating in the fridge now. 15grams dried made enough to fill my SS strainer which is about 4 cups or little more. The last batch had less and made about 6 gallons of the final watering solution. This batch should make at least 9 gallons

15gram of dried wakame
1tbs molasses
2 tsp Jobes 4-4-2 compost starter
Enough bottled water to top off a gallon jug.

Up pot my only Sandia Select that came up.

Finish drying out the coco i removed from a pot that was doing poorly and use it in a Walmart bag instead.

Reorganize all the stuff the roofers and tuck pointers moved.

Probably add 2 more potted plants to the ground plot and it will be done.

Recently found out how stinky pickled daikon is, stinks up whole house, must be covered airtight in fridge or smells like a rotten banana stuck under the fridge!

We're on track for having a tropical storm start to hit tomorrow evening, so will be moving my potted plants to in front of the house to get them out of the worst winds. Hoping the in ground plants don't get hit too hard.

Yeah, I'm hoping this thing is not too bad.

Also I added a nice subwoofer and 2 speakers under my patio for listening to music while I'm gardening. I found a nice bluetooth attachment for it so I can change music and volume from my phone while I'm in the back yard.   :)
You are now on my list of official legends.

I built a medium-ish raised bed. 30h x 150l x 95w

No pics yet, but hoping to put in soil soon so I can grow some spinach and broccoli over winter! And then its going to house the large portion of my in-ground grow next season!

dang the 108* plus weather burned some leaves on my avocado tree's so I moved them under the shade tarp. We have several more days in the 100* plus temps. Watering the container plants daily this week.

Things to do:
1. Put up shade cloth over garden
2. Install drip irrigation
3. Haul of a bunch of tree debris
4. Remove some bushes that wife wants gone
5. Cut down small Mulberry tree in front yard

Had to taste a CCN Gochu this morning. One was kinda close to the dirt and i was curious. It was much hotter than i thought it would be. Upper jalapeno hot and very tasty.

Got everything on my list done except the kkakdugi and cleaning up after the home repairs.

Need to make some more coleslaw.

Picked about 7 cukes.....Mmmmm cucumbers and red onions with Roland Special Reserve dry white wine vinegar. :D

Hasn't been bad yet. I'm interested to see if it picks up tonight like they're predicting though.

Yeah, I was driving back from Grand Chenier yesterday evening, and I thought I might get caught in it before I made it home.  The clouds were looking pretty crazy over the Gulf.
Then I wake up this morning like nothing's happened yet.  Gave me a little more time to stake down my new fruit trees.

It just seems like we might be getting a whole lot of rain in the next few days.

Just returned after a week in Long Beach Island. The entire garden is rocking...except for when my makeshift gate blew over and deer went in and noshed my butternut squash, cuke, rudbeckia, and a few tomatoes. So I'm making over my makeshift fence.

Visited Spice it Up in LBI. Came away with some good sauces.
