I have been one of the lucky ones to try and review one of jungle rains gourmet chilli sauces.

The review was of his new sauce called Pitbull hot chilli sauce with cherry’s, cranberry and

Trinidad scorpions morugas.

I have been excited to try this sauce since he asked me to review it. The sauce has a great aroma and taste (fruity but mainly the beautiful smell of the morugas ), texture and great consistency. The colour of the sauce is very intriguing, My wife that doesn’t like hot stuff couldn’t help herself

from the looks of it. She enjoyed it almost as much as me ( just a bit to hot for her) LOL.

Like all of he’s sauces especially this one the combination of ingredients are just genius.

When tasting the sauce firstly the taste of cherry/cranberry ( since having cranberry in it I thought it would be very tarty but I was wrong) then the morugas hit u with a bang. Its not a overpowering heat like some sauces out there that just ruin the taste and feel of the sauce, but pleasant heat that mixes so well with other ingredients. While the heat is there u still get the flavours of the sauce.

I would say the

Heat: 9/10++

Flavour: 10/10

Consistency: 10/10

I would recommend this sauce to all chilli heads, It is a must try

AUSSIE SAUCES ALL THE WAY

cam doesnt work so couldnt make a video review sorry

I hate reading reviews that make me want to spam buy now without having a means to do so. Great review, would love to know where I can acquire.

*Edit* Gots to love google! Found it

thanks Lance...come on guys give it a try
I've also got in the works (almost finished just waiting on label design)

sounds good love sambal sauces/ pastes.
will definately buy this one

Yeah, i was lucky enough to have a bottle of this recently, and it's bloomin' hot!!!
I've just finished the last of it, and enjoyed every drop! Well done on another fine sauce Grant :)

That does sound really amazing. I love the sound of cranberries and cherries in a hot sauce.

Questions:
1. what is "energy" - we don't have that on our labels. Same as "calories"? Only thing I could think of.
2. Where can I buy in the US?

My dog's best friend was a pit - sadly he was put down due to old age last year. :( He was the sweetest most docile creature I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

@1 yeah energy is calories but stated in the more technically contemporary Kilojoules (kJ)
Kilojoule

The kilojoule (kJ) is equal to one thousand (10[sup]3[/sup]) joules. Outside of North America, nutrition facts labels are markedly different from those in the United States; in particular, energy is usually expressed in standard kilojoules (kJ) rather than Calories.
One kilojoule per second (1000 watts) is approximately the amount of solar radiation received by one square metre of the Earth in full daylight

1 Calorie - around 4.2 kilojoules

And @2

I believe junglerain.com.au is the only place currently you can get these suaces although the man himself will be able to tell you for sure.

As soon as I get some more cash (flat broke right now, lol) I will be ordering some of this, I think.

Me too, mate... I'm strapped! But a bottle of this is definitely at the top of my list.

Thanks for the review, Lance!

Love the label, Grant.

Can't wait to give this one a burl!
