The Dehydrator is a nesco heat range from 100 to 155 degrees
i am not sure this is the way to do it I have had them in there for 3 days wow at 125 or so
one of the guys i work with does them in the oven and only takes overnight at 200 degrees
unless you want the seeds for next year they should dry under 130 or the seeds can be ruined?
so i was told
I am going to air dry the next batch
when i seed them i will save seeds from fresh ripe pods and bake the peppers untill dry may even smoke them a while first
then oven dry

[sub]Big Mike thats a nice monster plant [/sub]
[sub]the monster I have some pods are little and turning ripe some are only 1/2" long [/sub]
[sub]and some are 4" long go figure[/sub]

Man, if you're drying Bhuts in a dehydrator inside I hope everybody in the house either likes them or has respirators! Nice looking pull though, and beautiful pods.

Enuz - I dry mine at 135F - but I cut the pods in half before placing in the dehydrator. Takes about 12 hours to get them leathery. Save seeds from fresh pods, not dehydrated ones. Beautiful pods - very nice work.
