The results are in for Kato's 5th Fiery Food & Sauce Competition the winner is Bodine Etc. Specialty Foods out of Clearwater Florida with Jamaican Jerk & highest score wins the Acyclic trophy & cash. Second place went to Defcon Sauces with their product Defense Condition #2
3rd place goes to Flaming Joe's with their product Strawberry Jalapeno Jam. The rest of the winners are below.

He actually contacted me a few months ago and asked if I wanted to be a judge and I emailed him back a few times saying yes....but alas, he did not respond back....I almost feel slighted :(
 
He sent the info several months ago for the contest. It was a bit more expensive this time around so some of us couldn't afford the entry fee. I also sent a message and didn't hear back. Im guessing that with his delicious sauces, they are busy in Fla.

I need to order more Rajun Cajun as my spring works itself into more cash!
 
wait, wait, wait...the judges said Fire in the Hole is hotter than DM MK II?...

if it is, that would definitely be fire...
 
Based on some private conversations with Mick of Kato's, lets just say they have had a very rough 2008 and looking to be optimistic and hoping that 2009 brings happier times. I would say more, but I don't think it is for me to say.
 
Congrats to the winners and I see the Creator has taken a first place along with a couple of seconds. I have got to try those wings! Congrats Creator.
