last frosts

Sorry to hear about this Serrano. Seems like no one has really enjoyed a nice Spring this year. I was hoping to get my garden planted this weekend...Victoria Day long weekend, which is when I usually try, but they're still predicting snow next week! Pretty crappy all around. I guess I'll hold off until June, but at least the plants are happily oblivious sitting under the bright lights.

Glad to hear that your friend will be able to help you out. That's good news.
 
I you get another frost, try using stakes to keep the tarp or blanket from contacting the leaves and place a pot of hot water under there when it starts getting near freezing. You may have to get up real early if it's a hard frost.

Also, protect them from harsh morning sun if they get super cold - they will wilt very quickly without some shade before they warm up.
 
Pretty glad I didn't put my plants into the ground yet. I woke up to about 3" of snow this morning. It's been snowing for nearly 4 hours now and isn't letting up. Gotta love those May 19th blizzards huh!? :(
