In all seriousness, April 15th I will be growing my NHL playoff beard. I have to do it, If a player cuts his beard before his team loses in the playoffs it's very bad luck. It's not an old tradition. Islanders started it in the late 70's i think, then it stopped and then again players started doing it again for superstitious reasons. Out of respect for them I will go through the "itch" with them.
