Ya have to use the image link button:
insertimage.gif



Thus, the image has to be on the Internetz somewhere so you can post an URL into the dialog that button gives you.

For example, this is the above image: http://www.thehotpepper.com/images/thehotpepper/editor/insertimage.gif

And this is a pissed-off Thugs Bunnny:

Most images online ya can right-click and get the address of.

If it's your image on your PC, you'd need an image host (photobucket, imageshack, etc) or website you run that allows hotlinking to images.
