Leaf problem, leave me alone!

Hello,
About a week ago I transplanted my peppers (ghost and scorpion), and the leaves seem to be curling up and even browing on the edges. I trimmed one of the leaves on the smaller plant, but I am very concerned about the plants in general. I think I way over watered them, and have been letting them dry out for the past few days. I sprayed them with epsom salt/water mix last night but I am wondering if there is anything else I need to be doing. Should I get some cal-mag? What is going on with my plants? Thank you.

yeah browning around the edges could be fert burn depending on what you put in the soil if anything or the type of soil.. but pics would help more than anything else.

Did you get those from Cal State Fullerton? They look almost identical to mine, but a little bigger than mine...and I definitely did not get the pick of the litter..

Mine had a similar issue when I first got them home and put them in direct sun. I assumed the damage was from sunburn - they must have been in a greenhouse or something at Cal State, because when I put mine in the sun, they started to burn.

I think your plants are fine, leave 'em alone unless its getting progressively worse. The pattern of the damage makes me think you might have let some water bead on them in the sun...drops of water act like little magnifying glasses and can burn the leaves of plants even if they are already hardened off.

EDIT: I initially only looked at the first pick, after reviewing pictures 2-4 I'd wager to guess over watering, possibly some pest damage too. If you've been feeding them nutrients, I'd flush them with clean water, then let them dry up until they start to wilt before you water again. If you've just been giving them water, let them dry out.

Thanks for the replies guys! Good eye MAFWIZ, I did get them from CSUF. The temperature has warmed up quite a bit (for now at least) and the soil has dried up to a suitable level. I am going to hold off for another day or so before watering them again. They look much better already. So much for my theory of more water=more growth. Is it worth investing in some cal-mag or would miracle grow for tomatoes work just the same?

Thanks for the help!

if it has the cal and mag in the MG for tomatoes and other nutrients, then sure.. I got Cal-Mag a month ago I think now, and it really is great, will be using it from now on, at least when they are in pots.
