Sadly my 7 pod white plant grew pale yellow pods instead of white pods.

I'm looking for some new seeds to try again next year.

The Pale Yellow one's are very nice and tasty so I can trade seeds of these or look at my for trade list in my profile.

Yes I did, I got the seeds from Grant and he told me that sometimes the 7 Pod white hybrid can have a pale yellow variation.
 
They look true to me. But yeah, let them sit a little longer if you want "whiter" pods. They will never be perfectly white though.

I thought although never "realy white" ussualy they should be a little whiter. I have never grown these before so I don't know for sure. Just what I was told.
 
Waited for more than 4 weeks for the first pod, but there is still 3 pods on the plant will keep them on (untill they drop haha)
 
+1 on what Omri said.
You cant give a plant a specific amount of time to give you fully-ripe pods. It will give them to you when it wants. If it takes 8 weeks, then so be it.
 
This is what Junglerain told me about a month ago and it is the reason I'm looking for new seeds to try again.

The 7 pod white hybrid you are growing is another colour variation of it....
It seems that it is still not stable, Jacob got lucky this season with the correct coloration

Now I know that Grant knows his Peppers so I take his answer seriously and think he is right and mine would never get any whiter and will remain pale yellow however long I leave it to ripen.

That being said I will keep the last ones to ripen untill they fall off just incase.

So if anyone has some 7 pod white seeds for me I still would like to trade some please.
 
Ive got some, and MY pods look exactly the same as yours. Wanna guess where I got my plant? Jacob. The very Jacob that Grant was talking about. Wanna guess where HE got HIS seeds? From Grant. Either way, you are more than welcome to some seeds.

I was just asking to do some trading and not wanting to start a discussion.

I would say that it not a 7 Pod at all think it is funny HP is trying to promote a pepper that doesn't even exist. :rofl: Looks more habanero than anything else. :lol:

When I first received the pepper it was labeled 7 pot/'pod white,
however I believe it to be a hybrid possible crossed with the Habanero white giant?????
It is still an unstable crosss, this is why there are two varients;
  1. a white creamy colour
  2. a pale lemon colour
Both seem to have a decent heat, though no where near as high as the other 7 pot/pods
but they do have a nice fresh apple taste to them
