wanted looking for free hot pepper fruit/seed :S

hello. i am from kuwait and in my country i do not have any seed provider (hot pepper). and ordering online from the us or uk or etc... is quite a hassle.

i am looking for anyone that is kind enough to donate to me any fresh pods or seeds of any good and hot (LIKE... REALLY HOT , BHUT , HABS ETC..)

please do not make fun of me lol but i have ordered some seeds and i am out of stock and ordering is really hard in my country.

It is still a little early for trading so try not to be offended if you do not receive many responses. If you revive this thread around October-November everyone should have plenty of seeds. Including me...
 
does your mail system block packages coming in for stuff like that? some countries are very non-friendly when it comes to importing in seeds.

@ jesterjoker i do not know the last time i ordered was shipped to my brother's address in the uk "he studies there" then i just waited for him to get back and he brought it with them. but i do not think they are not allowed as i do not see any reason ... how do i check

This is what i found with a little googling, under the United Arab Emirates country profile.



General Import Restrictions

The following items are not acceptable for carriage to any international destinations unless otherwise indicated. (Additional restrictions may apply depending on destination. Various regulatory clearances in addition to customs clearance may be required for certain commodities, thereby extending the transit time.)

8.Plants and plant material, including cut flowers (cut flowers are acceptable from the U.S. to selected points in Canada and from Colombia, Ecuador and the Netherlands to the U.S.).

Ok, I found the Kuwaiti import law. Problem #1, it's in Arabic. Problem #2, I'm a dumb Pennsylvania redneck that doesn't read Arabic. If you can translate this document and tell us what it says in regards to the import of vegetable seeds and other agriculture products, then maybe we can help you.

i did not understand the link u sent me but i did some research and as i understood it is okay to import seeds.

and another reason i think this is okay is that i am not bringing large amount of seeds (although i think it is okay too since we have places that sells seeds ordered from the us BUT they do not sell pepper seeds they only sell "good looking" seeds like strawberry and stuff like that)


so if anyone is kind enough to send me a little amount of seeds for testing (1-10) and i will post the results ?

My local postal service does not ship to Kuwait, but if you have a friend or relative elsewhere, I will gladly share my latest harvest - Pimenta De Neyde, Peruvian White Habanero and Raja Mirch. all quite hot. :)

I've tried the "Pimenta De Neyde" before and they're really nice…you will surely love them.

Hey omri :) thanks for the help and you are probably the closest one here to my country :) but i think Israel doesn't ship to other middle east countries ot the other way around ? . umm... if there is a free or cheap or very cheap way to send in the pods or seeds i would love to give you my address


EDIT : i just found out that most arab countries do not allow importing from or exporting to Israel :( but if you can send it to my brother who studies in the uk THEN he sends it back to me . is that okay with you? and will anything happen to the seeds because of the long time to arrive to me ?

Yes, very few countries around here collaborate with our postal service. the UK is perfect, actually.
Send me the address in a PM and I'll make sure the seeds dry well enough to be in great shape once they reach you.

I forgot to mention those chiles do well in hot weather. :)
